Turf & lawn installation

New lawns built from the soil up — sod, seed, or synthetic turf.

A lawn is only as good as the eight inches under it. We remove failed turf, correct grade, amend soil by test results, then install sod, hydroseed or artificial turf that actually establishes.

FAQ

Questions we get every week

When can I install a new lawn in Massachusetts?

Late August through mid-October is the best window — warm soil, cool air, less weed pressure. Spring works too, and sod can be laid any time the ground isn't frozen.

How soon can we walk on new sod?

Light foot traffic after about two weeks; normal use after roughly a month once roots knit into the soil below.

Do you install artificial turf?

Yes — for deep-shade areas, dog runs and small play yards where natural grass will never hold. It gets a proper drainage base, not just a pad on dirt.
